Caitlin Lujan’s interest in law began in high school after taking government classes,
so she focused on law and politics in college. She now specializes in labor and
employment law, commercial litigation, and business law.
Originally from Fresno, California, Caitlin moved to Tucson in 2015 to attend the
University of Arizona for her undergraduate studies. She later received a full-ride
scholarship to the James E. Rogers College of Law, earning a Juris Doctor in 2022,
along with a certificate in transactional business law and business litigation.
During law school, Caitlin gained valuable experience interning for the Equal
Employment Opportunity Commission and working as a summer associate at Mesch
Clark Rothschild. She is a member of the Arizona Women Lawyers Association and the
Udall Inn of Court.
A passion for employment law was sparked after Caitlin witnessed a coworker harass
another coworker and supported the harassed employee through the human resources
complaint process. She particularly enjoys the strategic aspect of trials, where she can
collaborate with her team and see their strategies play out in court.
While working at Mesch Clark Rothschild, Caitlin became involved with the Volunteer
Lawyers Program when she stepped in — on very short notice! — to cover an
employment law clinic for a colleague who was called to jury duty. She quickly became
a regular volunteer, helping provide legal assistance to low-income families in the
community. We are grateful to have such a dedicated volunteer as part of our team.
When Caitlin isn’t busy with her legal career, she loves spending time with her rescue
dog, Ollie, whom she adopted from Arizona Desert Rotti & Pals Rescue. Her hobbies
include knitting, crocheting, and reading — she’s a proud book collector and is well on
her way to building her own personal library.
Caitlin is taking a sabbatical before her upcoming wedding and navigating what she wants
her future to look like.
