SALA serves 9 counties in Arizona and 11 Native American Tribal communities. The
Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will be based in the Administrative Unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The person will provide reception duties to include receiving clients and the
public at the front desk, answering and directing phone calls, providing general information, and any
other reception duties as may be required; provide legal administrative support to the Director of
Litigation and Advocacy and administrative and clerical support to the Director of Development
and Communications to ensure efficient operations and assist with donor relations,
communications, and event coordination.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Applicants must have at least two years’ experience as a receptionist/administrative assistant,
preferably in a legal setting.
2. Applicants must exhibit a high degree of sensitivity to the problems of the low-income
community.
3. Applicants should have initiative, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and
the ability to work well in a diverse multi-cultural setting.
4. Proficiency in office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite), legal management systems, and
experience with Bloomerang or other Customer Relationship Management software.
5. Highly skilled in written correspondence with a keen eye for detail and expert knowledge of
grammar and style
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
7. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, attorneys, staff, and donors.
8. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
COMPENSATION
Salary range: $31,532-$63,452; up to five percent additional compensation to
individuals fluent in Spanish. Excellent benefits package including health insurance, disability
