Claire Maguire worked as an intern with SALA’s Housing Unit during the Fall 2020 semester. Her work as a rule 39 certified limited practice student representing and advising clients was of a uniform high quality and her available time was hotly sought after by Unit advocates. She also wrote community outreach blogs for SALA’s Volunteer Lawyers Program on updates to housing law focused on evictions during COVID. Not surprisingly to anyone with whom she worked, Claire will receive a well-deserved award at her graduation from the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers School of Law on May 11, 2021. Congratulations, Claire!
